Author: I’ve started on a scarf finally after admiring the oversized scarfs I’ve been seeing online. I’m making this scarf with black and gray yarn and using a USH8/5.00 MM crochet needle.
It’a wrapped twice around my neck; it’s over 11 feet long and I’ll probably make it around 14 inches wide – at least.
I’ve probably put 6 hours of work into this scarf so far. I’m using a double crochet stitch because it’s the one I found easiest as a beginner. The book I’m using is called “The Cool Girl’s Guide to Crochet,” by Nicki Trench.
